Job Overview:
In this newly developed temporary role, HR Support & Compliance II, you’ll partner with the Global Trade Compliance team and the HR Manager to help lay the foundation for ITAR Compliance at the Hampton Production site. This role will directly report to the HR Manager and is responsible for ensuring ITAR compliance through enforcement of Technology Control Plan (TCP) in areas such as badging/re-badging employees, maintaining visitor logs, citizenship validation for site entry, escort requirements and facility access controls.
In addition to supporting the ITAR compliance, you will be responsible for providing a range of day-to-day HR support to the local team including but not limited to staffing, performance management, and training.
Key Job Responsibilities:
- Maintains and assists with creation and updates of forms, handbooks, policies, or documents that are needed by employees.
- Works with Plant Operations and HR Management on new signage in production areas of new product lines to ensure ITAR compliance in accordance with TCP.
- With support from HR Manager will be responsible for developing, implementing and maintaining site specific ITAR Trainings.
- Ensures all new hires are trained in ITAR and collects, tracks and maintains repository for signed site ITAR forms.
- Ensuring the recruitment processes for the Hampton site are ITAR compliant including updating job positing with appropriate language, developing interview guidelines, supporting candidate screening and other activities related to recruitment of new team members.
- In partnership with the HR Manager drive employee engagement through effective communication, employee events, and activities.
- Monitor adherence to all organization-specific Human Resource related policies, procedures and practices, act as a liaison to staff regarding policies.
Job Requirements:
- 3 years of relevant HR experience
- Previous experience working at an ITAR production site required
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills and the ability to conduct meetings and presentations
- Self-starting, results-orientated individual who is team oriented
- Ability to develop and maintain effective working relationships with a variety of stakeholders.
- Consultative and collaborative style that allows for influence without authority.
- Excellent verbal, interpersonal, and written communication skills necessary to interact with staff at all levels of the organization.
- Experience with continuous improvement methodologies, project management, and process documentation skills.
- Critical thinking skills with the ability to research and analyze data drawn from multiple sources to find problems and make effective decisions.

Salary: $25.00 - $28.84 per hour
