Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Chef to join our team. The Chef will be responsible for overseeing the kitchen operations, menu planning, food handling, and ensuring high-quality meals are prepared and served. The ideal candidate will have a passion for culinary arts, strong leadership skills, and the ability to create delicious and visually appealing dishes.

Responsibilities:
- Plan and create menus that meet the dietary needs and preferences of customers
- Prepare and cook meals according to recipes and portion sizes
- Ensure food is prepared in a timely manner and meets quality standards
- Supervise kitchen staff and provide guidance as needed
- Monitor inventory levels and order supplies as necessary
- Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment
- Adhere to food safety regulations and guidelines
- Collaborate with restaurant management to develop new dishes and improve existing ones
- Train new kitchen staff members on proper cooking techniques and safety procedures

Experience:
- Proven experience working in a professional kitchen or restaurant environment
- Extensive knowledge of food preparation techniques, culinary trends, and menu planning
- Strong understanding of food safety practices and regulations
- Excellent cooking skills with the ability to create flavorful and visually appealing dishes
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Effective communication skills to coordinate with kitchen staff, management, and other team members

Requirements:
- Previous experience in kitchen or restaurant management is preferred but not required
- Culinary degree or certification is a plus but not required

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $23.98 - $28.88 per hour

Expected hours: 50 per week
