What are the responsibilities and job description for the Copy Of Pharmacy Clerk position at INDIAN HEALTH CARE RESOURCE CENTER?
- Responsible for efficient and timely processing of pharmacy patients, both in-person and via telephone.
- Safely and efficiently dispenses verified prescriptions to correct patients following established guidelines.
- High School diploma or equivalent.
- 1 year in medical office/clinic environment preferred.
- Intermediate computer skills. Strong written and oral communication skills. Excellent interpersonal skills. Ability to multitask.

- Retirement: IHCRC offers a 403(b) plan for you to immediately start contributing to upon hire. After one year, and 1000 hours of service, IHCRC contributes an amount equal to 4% of your yearly base salary to a 401(a) plan. This amount increases to 5% after 5 years and 6% after 10 years of service. Vesting in the 401(a) plan is based on a 6 year graded vesting schedule.
- Paid Time Off: PTO combines sick time and vacation time into one bank of time that is used for all personal time off. Employees who are regularly scheduled to work Full Time, 40 hour per week, earn Paid Time Off at a rate of 6.77 hours per pay period (22 days per year). After 5 years of service, Paid Time Off is accrued at a rate of 9.23 hours per pay period (30 days per year). Physicians start accruing at the 9.23 accrual rate immediately upon becoming benefits eligible.
- Holidays: IHCRC is closed for holiday observations a total of 13 days per calendar year. All Full Time status employees will receive holiday pay for the regular scheduled work day.
- Additional Benefits: IHCRC reimburses eligible employees for professional license fee renewals, professional liability insurance, professional organization memberships, and continuing education conferences.
