We are seeking a reliable and customer-oriented Cashier to join our team. As a Cashier, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and ensuring accurate and efficient transactions at the point of sale. We are looking for individuals that are willing to enhance and educate our customers to our vibrant and diverse food we offer. Responsibilities
- Greet customers with a friendly and welcoming attitude
- Process customer transactions accurately using a POS system
- Handle cash, credit, and debit card payments
- Maintain a clean and organized checkout area
- Answer customer questions and provide assistance as needed
- Upsell additional products or services to customers
- Ensure compliance with food handling and safety regulations
- Collaborate with team members to achieve sales targets and provide excellent customer service
Requirements
- Basic math skills to calculate totals, handle cash, and provide accurate change
- Previous experience in the food service or retail industry is preferred
- Knowledge of retail math principles for pricing and discounts is a plus
- Ability to handle food safely and follow proper sanitation procedures
- Strong communication skills to interact with customers and team members effectively
- Weekend availability is required
