What are the responsibilities and job description for the Energy Sales Specialist-D2D and Retail Sales position at Indra Energy?
Indra Energy is currently seeking Energy Sales Specialists to report to the Manager, Internal Sales Channel and assist in expanding our customer base. The Energy Sales Specialist should have excellent sales, communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills. Must have experience selling electricity and gas in deregulated markets through door to door and retail sales channels. The candidate should also demonstrate the ability to meet deadlines and have a strong sales aptitude.
Base Pay Commission
Duties:
- Responsible for engaging with customers, educating them on clean energy, and driving residential sales, in
D2D or Retail/Table-top locations.
- Meet and exceed sales targets, while adhering to quality and compliance guidelines.
- Support the Regional Sales Manager in identifying other sales agents.
- Interact with customers in a way that generates an exceptional customer experience.
- Generate best practices for regional and channel sales.
- Maintain knowledge and execution of compliance and quality expectations.
- Adhere to weekly schedule to ensure optimization of channel and territory coverage.
- Provide feedback that supports the growth and improvement of sales, quality, compliance, and customer satisfaction targets.
Qualifications:
- D2D and Retail experience required selling electricity and gas in deregulated markets.
- Must have a high level of interpersonal skills to work with others.
- Strong communication skills, pleasant, fluid and persuasive.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, is extremely outgoing, and is passionate about the opportunity to make a positive impact on the environment.
- Ability to persevere through and overcome rejection and problem solve.
- Able to successfully use technology to perform job functions such as tablet, email, business software, and group chats.
- 18 years or older.
- Must have reliable transportation to get to and from Retail locations and D2D territories.
- Prior sales experience within energy, credit card, or door-to-door sales are preferable.
Job Type: Full-time
Salary: $41,600.00 - $90,000.00 per year
