POSITION PURPOSE
The Office Manager for the Information Technology Department of the Indianapolis Public Transportation Corporation (IndyGo) will play a crucial role in maintaining the efficiency and organization of IT office operations and serve as a primary point of contact for procurement and HR-related affairs. This role will report directly to the CIO and provide unparalleled organizational skills with attention to detail to assist in managing all department administrative functions and handling confidential matters with discretion.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
- Research, prioritize, and provide follow-up on ongoing issues and concerns addressed to the CIO/IT Department
- Work with the procurement department to manage IT contracts and warranties concerning timelines, expirations, and monthly/annual cost
- Manage all IT purchase requisitions and monitor IT budget, including tracking all expenses, data entry for purchases, shipping confirmations, and asset inventory management
- Assists in developing and managing assigned CIO projects, including monitoring activities, timelines, and team deliverables while issuing follow-up communication on behalf of the department.
- Function as a point of contact with the Department of People (HR) to create job descriptions, schedule interviews, and assist with onboarding processes.
- Cultivate professional, inclusive, and respectful working relationships, and anticipate department needs.
- Maintain department policies, procedures, and the PTO calendar while utilizing discretion, confidentiality, and sound judgment in handling department matters

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE
To perform this job successfully, an individual must have the following education and/or experience.
- A minimum four (4) years of experience in administrative support, business administration
- Management, program support, public administration, or project management. previous experience
- Experience with working in financial systems – two (2) years (preferred)
- Information Technology experience is a plus
- Bachelor’s degree in business (preferred)
