What are the responsibilities and job description for the Room Attendant/Housekeeping position at Infinite Hospitality, Inc.?
Comfort Suites Visalia and Hillstone Inn Tulare is looking for a dynamic person to be a room attendant / housekeeper to represent hospitality to out of town guests. An associate will learn to work as a team in a friendly environment to provide superior guest satisfaction. You will receive training to perform your duties safely and effectively so you have structured expectations. Applicants would be applying for both properties and the location fit will be determined during the interview process.
This position will be considered part time as demand dictates need for housekeeping. Every effort is made to help provide consistent hours. Hotels are open 24 hours a day, 7 days per week so staff members will be working weekends and holidays.

Qualifications

- Ability to work unsupervised to follow tasks
- Ability to treat hotel guests and fellow staff members in a friendly and professional manner
- Must be responsible and trustworthy
- Must be able to walk and stand for duration of shift
- Must be able to hold, turn, or twist objects using hands
- Must be able to move, pull, carry, or lift at least 35 pounds
- Must be able to reach up, crouch, bend down, and step up or down as needed to complete tasks
- Must be eligible to work in the United States
Job Duties
- General cleaning of guest rooms including movement of furniture or mattresses to effectively vacuum, dust, wipe, shampoo, wax, mop, and otherwise clean a guest room or public area including removing trash
- Perform deep cleaning to maintain standards of cleanliness for guest rooms and public areas
- Clean glass and mirrors, polish furniture and clean equipment
- Assist and respond to guest requests for toiletries, linen, supplies, package deliveries, cribs, or rollaway beds
- Follow standard operating procedures to safely, efficiently, and effectively clean rooms
- Help maintain and stock work area and supply area
- Report safety and maintenance deficiencies to supervisor
- Turn in guest items to Lost and Found
- Wear required safety equipment when needed to perform job task
- Safely collect soiled lines and assist with laundry including washing, drying, folding, and storing lines
- Attend periodic staff meetings and training to complete training
- Perform other reasonable tasks required to provide a clean, safe, and enjoyable guest stay experience
