Business Development Representative (BDR/SDR Hybrid)

We are looking for a dynamic and high-performing business development representative who exemplifies a combination of target research (understanding organizational hierarchies, conversations with key stakeholders, and an ability for discovery), excitement for the “hunt”, communication skills, and an ability to help grow the pipeline of our business.
As a front line to sales and a link to marketing, you will be responsible for generating new conversations through outreach like cold calling, LinkedIn, and emails to ultimately capture feedback. Having a background or understanding in technology is a plus. This role is measured on contributing qualified pipeline to our Account Executive team. You will be part of a dynamic team and report to the VP of Marketing.
Your Daily Focus
Outgoing: Generate business opportunities with creative campaigns targeting new potential buyers and existing customers. Examples would include website backed campaigns launched via Tradeshows, Emails, LinkedIn, Google and/or other outbound facing mechanism. I.E. a “Hero” campaign targeting medical professionals with medical grade devices using ZoomInfo based customer list.
Incoming: Take incoming campaign-based leads, qualify if needed, and accurately book into Dynamics CRM system with necessary details and campaign names that generated the lead.
Measurement: Ability to measure campaigns effectiveness in Microsoft Dynamics. How many opportunities/$$$ did campaign A|B|C put into the pipeline? Is A|B|C generating more interest? Is campaign strategy X|Y|Z working better than others?
Mission Statement: Learn our solutions and evangelize IPCMobile’s offerings. Understand what segments our offerings appeal to and work with Sales and Marketing to generate demand with campaigns that appeal to those segments
Professional: Have high-level discussions with Director, VP, and C-Suite leaders. Ability to take feedback and act upon. I.E. Pitch some options, receive feedback, go. Self-Motivated with collaboration-based touch-points.
Preferred Qualifications
BA/BS degree or equivalent working experience
2-3 years of sales experience (mobile scanning & payment tech experience a plus)
A demonstrable history of successful prospecting outcomes
A self-driven, consistent, and positive attitude
Ability to drive initiative, organize, multi-task, prioritize, and maximize time
Ability to discover key customer needs through conversation
Excellent communication skills (written/verbal)
An analytical mind that recognizes valuable data from conversations and records accordingly
