SUMMARY
The Maintenance Technician is to oversee all installation, repair and upkeep operations of the company’s facilities. You will be the one to ensure that your colleagues have the best physical resources available to complete their duties according to budget.
A great Maintenance Technician will have a solid understanding of plumbing, HVAC, and electrical systems as well as carpentry, sheetrock, and other crafts. They will be well-versed in all maintenance process and health and safety regulations. The ideal candidate will also have aptitude in undertaking administrative tasks such as reporting, budgeting etc.
The goal is to ensure the company facilities are well-cared for and adequate to support the company’s business operations.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Maintaining and adhering to maintenance procedures
Carrying out inspections of the facilities to identify and resolve issues
Checking electrical systems of buildings to ensure functionality and comfort for all clients
Checking plumbing systems of buildings to ensure functionality and comfort for all clients
Checking HVAC systems of buildings to ensure functionality and comfort for all clients
Perform all repair and installation activities
Monitor equipment inventory and place orders when necessary
Monitor expenses and adhere to the budget for maintenance
Create relationships with contractors and service providers
Maintain maintenance logs and report on daily activities
Ensure health and safety policies are complied with
Troubleshoot problem areas and create a clear plan of action for fixing necessary parts
Assist in the training of new employees in maintenance work processes and procedures
Be proactive in managing maintenance issues throughout the facilities
REQUIREMENTS
Proven experience as maintenance technician
Experience in planning maintenance operations
Solid understanding of technical aspects of plumbing, carpentry, electrical systems etc.
Working knowledge of facilities machines and equipment
Ability to keep track of and report on activity
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Outstanding organizational and leadership abilities
Valid certifications will be a plus
Additional responsibilities may be warranted and assigned to you as the company grows in size and locations. You understand that due to the nature of the business of Infinite Recovery, sometimes “off the usual schedule work” is required to meet the needs of the company and its clients.

COMPUTER SKILLS
