**Join Their Team as a CNC Operator!**
We're looking for a dedicated and skilled CNC Operator to join their team and contribute to the company's success. As a CNC Operator, you'll play a crucial role in ensuring the consistent and reliable operation of their CNC machining equipment. If you're passionate about precision machining and ready to take on exciting challenges, this opportunity is perfect for you!
**Primary Function:**
This position is all about mastering the art of CNC machining. You'll be responsible for not only operating our CNC machines but also fine-tuning existing programs to achieve peak performance in cost-effectiveness, quality, tool longevity, cutting speeds, feeds, depth of cut, and more.
**Duties & Responsibilities:**
As a CNC Operator with us, your daily tasks will include:
- Reviewing shop orders and drawings to determine machining specifications and requirements.
- Entering computer commands to access stored parts data and programs.
- Keeping a watchful eye on the cutting tools (inserts) and making changes when necessary.
- Performing dimensional inspections of the finished products as required.
- And, of course, being adaptable and ready for any other job duties that may come your way.
**Requirements (Knowledge, Skills & Abilities):**
We're looking for individuals who possess:
- Excellent communication skills (both written and verbal).
- Strong analytical and interpersonal abilities.
- An in-depth understanding of CNC machining equipment.
- Knowledge of various Computer Numerical Control processes, including machining, programming setup, and operation.
- The ability to handle multiple tasks under tight deadlines.
- A solid grasp of safe operating procedures for machining equipment.
**Education and/or Experience:**
- A high school diploma or equivalent work experience is required.
- You should have at least five (5) years of experience as a CNC Operator/ Programmer
**Physical Requirements:**
- This role involves standing, bending, sitting, lifting (up to 50 pounds), squatting, and walking for 8 to 10 hours a day.
