We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Cleaner to join our team. As a key member of our facilities maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring that our properties are clean and well-maintained. The ideal candidate will have experience in porter and custodial roles, with a focus on commercial and industrial cleaning. This role is perfect for those who take pride in their work and are passionate about keeping spaces clean and tidy.
Responsibilities:
- Perform daily cleaning tasks, including dusting, vacuuming, and mopping floors
- Clean and maintain restrooms, including toilets, sinks, and mirrors
- Clean and buff floors to ensure they are free of dirt, stains, and scuffs
- Clean and maintain windows, doors, and walls
- Clean and maintain kitchen areas, including appliances and surfaces
- Clean and maintain offices and common areas
- Conduct regular inspections to ensure the facility is clean and tidy
- Maintain and use cleaning equipment and supplies
- Perform special cleaning projects as needed
Skills:
- Experience as a porter or in custodial roles
- Strong cleaning skills and attention to detail
- Experience with commercial and industrial cleaning
- Ability to maintain and use cleaning equipment and supplies
- Experience with residential painting is a plus
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and respect for the facility and its occupants
- Ability to follow instructions and work independently
- Ability to lift and move heavy objects
- Strong floor care skills, including buffing and polishing
- Experience with facilities maintenance is a plus
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $12.74 - $13.21 per hour
