Location: Clearfield, UT
A shift: 4/10, 6 am-4:30 pm
B shift: 4/10, 5 pm-3:30 am
C shift: 3/12, 6 am-6:30 pm w/ differential to make up for the 4 hours short
We are looking for Quality Inspectors to perform visual and photonic inspections of composite structures. This is a factory position, requiring them to locate and access design drawings and specifications, compare the physical part against the design, and make accept/reject decisions.
- Perform visual, in-process, and final dimensional inspections using standard measurement instruments on tightly tolerant materials, components, subassemblies, and final assemblies in the production areas.
- Performs required inspections in accordance with drawing, specifications, standard work, and planning requirements.
- Supports customer source inspections.
- Documentation of non-conformances on materials, parts, or processes.
- Reviews supplier paperwork, verifying material pass/fail criteria against engineering inspection requirements.
- Visual inspection and basic dimensional measurements of incoming materials.
- Reading chart records to determine material shelf life and expiration dates.
- Counting and tagging of boxes and individual parts.
- Computer processing and status of material acceptance.
