What are the responsibilities and job description for the Implementation Analyst - Payroll position at InfoSync?
This key position is client-facing, both internal and external, and is responsible for the project management of all payroll aspects of onboarding, implementation, and managing the initial stages of the client relationship. The Payroll Implementation Analyst works closely with client relations, IT, and HRIS to ensure successful implementations and seamless integrations for all new clients and new acquisitions. In addition, the Payroll Implementation Analyst supports the payroll department through management of, new client onboards, acquisitions, payroll projects; and payroll processes. An essential responsibility is to develop excellent client relationships in order to meet/exceed client expectations, demonstrate payroll knowledge, and deliver superior customer service.
Job Responsibilities:
Transitioning New Clients
- Work directly with the Transition Coordinator and the client to validate the requirements needed to configure the client’s data base to meet their expectations.
- Configure and complete payroll set up via HR System based on client requirement or best practice.
- Utilizing best practices, develop, define and implement solutions that accommodate the client’s expectations and payroll requirements.
- Verify all reports have been setup and review for accuracy.
- In coordination with the Implementation Analyst, Review procedure manual for Payroll instructions. Completing At-A-Glance and Processing Guides to be rolled out to the business with process.
- Processing and documenting parallel payroll to provide client with information that may need researched or corrected prior to go live.
- Processing the first 2 go live payrolls for each new client as they onboard.
- Recognizes when and how to escalate situations as appropriate
- Works cooperatively with others. Builds rapport and maintain professionalism with internal and external clients and team members

- Research, develop and make recommendations to new processes to meet client needs that are outside of standard practices
Ongoing Payroll Support
- Assist with making changes to existing accounts.
- Manage issues related to the payroll system. To include working with Ultipro to resolve misc. payroll issues.
- Assist with coordinating projects between the department and IT.
- Assist with difficult processes. Help trouble shoot and problem solve issues that may come up with existing clients.
- Recognizes errors and makes corrections accordingly
- Able to coordinate multiple tasks, switching priorities and focus as needed to meet a priority issue.
- Effective in time management.
Basic Qualifications:
- 2 to 3 years’ experience with payroll processing and payroll systems
Professional Skill Requirements:
- Intermediate to Advanced Excel skills, including pivot tables and lookup functions
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to interact with clients, customers, and vendors
- Project Management Experience
- Ability to multi-task and prioritize assigned projects to meet deadlines
- Self-motivated; ability to take on assigned tasks with minimal supervision
- Experience with payroll/benefits and wage assignments
Preferred:
- Associate’s degree in Business Admin or related field or in progress
- 6 months to 2 years of ISS experience
- FCP Certification
