Automation (SDET) Test Lead

Infosys is seeking a Test Automation Lead (SDET) ,
As a QA Test Lead you will act as a validation and quality assurance expert and review the functionality of existing systems. You will conduct requirement analysis, define test strategy & design and lead execution to guarantee superior outcomes. Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education.
• At least 4 years of Information Technology experience
• U.S. citizens and those authorized to work in the U.S. are encouraged to apply. We are unable to sponsor currently.
• Candidate must be located within commuting distance of Santa Clara, CA or be willing to relocate to the area. This position may require travel in the US.
• Experience in software development and software development life cycles (waterfall/agile)
• Experience with Testing strategies and Test Execution

• 4 years of relevant experience in Testing and Minimum 5 years of experience in Automation framework development using Java
• 4 years of experience in Test Automation using Selenium including Framework development, Framework maintenance, Framework Optimization, Automation Strategizing, Automation Planning and Automation Test Execution
• Strong knowledge in Core Java, Selenium, Oracle DB, Web Services, Agile, DevOps, SQL
• Strong hands-on experience in building automation framework and in developing automation scripts for Web UI developed in different technologies -Angular/React, Web Services and APIs
• Should have experience in Agile and DevOps methodology.
• Possess end-to-end knowledge and experience in testing.
• Extensive experience in test planning/ test strategy, test estimates • Excellent communication and client handling skills
• Strong analytical, problem solving and Presentation Skills with strong Interpersonal and organization skills.
• Co-ordinate and collaborate with multiple teams to triage/trouble shoot defects and conduct root cause analysis.

The job entails sitting as well as working at a computer for extended periods of time. Should be able to communicate by telephone, email, or face to face. Travel may be required as per the job requirements.
