We have an Immediate Need of Automation Engineer
Job Description:
Need an Automation Engineer with 80% of automation testing and 20% of manual profiles.
The role is of a Functional QA to work with the Transaction Reporting team which is a rapidly growing space. Your role as a Manual Tester will include
- Validation of acceptance criteria documented by the BAs to ensure sufficient coverage
- Validation of the BDD tests to meet the acceptance criteria
- Execution of the UAT tests to validate the functionality and produce appropriate evidence for review.
- Learning and understanding the testing processes used in the wider team, coordinating with stakeholders to design and prioritise UAT/System testing and be an ambassador for good testing practices throughout the team.
- Creating/Updating/Maintaining Regression Pack for every release
Skills Required
- Must have excellent verbal and written communication skill
- Should be able to communicate effectively with Teams and able to validate Testing Criteria is sufficient as part of Requirement
- Create detailed, comprehensive and well-structured test plans and test strategy
- Experience in analysing the Business requirements / user stories
- Should have experience in Capital markets (OTC derivatives)
- Regulatory Reporting will be added advantage
- Should have experience in testing tools - ALM, Jira, SQL and Unix
- Experience working in Agile development process
- Self-motivated, interactive, hard-working, energetic, organized and detail-oriented
- Well Versed with Testing Process
For Senior Roles, in addition to the above skills we also expect candidate to have
- Experience in managing testing team
- Experience in maintaining high levels of quality and consistency of approach within testing team
- Experience in management reporting
- Confident and strong communicator who is able to present/discuss management reports in senior management meetings
