In this highly visible role, the Senior will have frequent interaction with client teams, partners, and staff.
Qualifications And Skills
- Bachelor of Arts or Science in Accounting.
- Current CPA or eligibility to sit for CPA exam.
- 3-5 years of experience in public accounting and auditing financial statements with the ability to act as in-charge on engagements.
- Experience with Microsoft Excel and Word required.
- Experience with Caseware and Lacerte a plus.
- Coordinate the audit process from planning to completion of all required financial statements, related disclosures, and other client deliverables.
- Build client relationships and assure continued close personal attention to their needs.
- Work as team member to complete assigned audit area or task.
- Conduct risk assessment and perform test of transactions and account balances.
- Prepare workpapers to accurately document audit work and support conclusions.
- Manage and monitor time and accurate completion of projects.
- Prepare Form 990 and related tax forms for non-profit clients.
- Timely and effective communication to promote client satisfaction.
