- Perform equipment and parts repairs in a safe, responsible, and professional manner.
- Collaborate effectively and professionally with customers, co-workers, and suppliers. Demonstrate the ability to work both independently and in a team environment.
- Ensure completion of service tasks within specified time guidelines and repair estimates.
- Operate equipment as necessary to carry out repairs and set-ups.
- Generate parts and material lists using computer systems and written forms.
- Accurately complete service paperwork on a daily basis, providing detailed reports with all required information.
- Maintain clear and effective communication with management regarding repair status.
- Promptly report any issues, unforeseen damage, or repairs not previously identified.
- Keep the field service truck and/or work area clean, orderly, and well-maintained.
- Adhere to all company policies and government regulations.
- Experience in the field, technical qualifications, or an equivalent combination of education and work background are required.
- Proficiency in crane fundamentals and operations, including crawler, hydraulic truck, and rough terrain cranes, is essential.
- Thorough knowledge of hydraulic, electrical, and can-bus systems is a prerequisite.
- The candidate should be adept at interpreting hydraulic and electrical schematics and possess strong troubleshooting skills.
- Flexibility to work overtime as needed is expected. Successful completion of a Drug Test and Background Check is mandatory.
