OPPORTUNITY SNAPSHOT
Responsible for the service, troubleshooting, repair, testing, and refurbishment of compressed air equipment such as air compressors and dryers. This involves the inspection and analysis of malfunctions, dismantling, repairing, adjusting, and reassembling (as required) to solve operational problems.
Although you’ll come to us with a strong foundation of industrial mechanical skills, we'll provide extensive training and cross-training on rental compressor and dryer technology. PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Your overall objectives will include:
- Testing rental dryer and compressor equipment.
- Repairing rental dryer and compressor equipment.
- Refurbishing rental dryer and compressor equipment.
- Troubleshooting rental dryer and compressor equipment.
Preferred qualifications/skills:
- Strong commitment to safety is a must.
- 1-2 Years of mechanical/pneumatic/refrigeration service & repair experience.
- Knowledge of installation, operation, maintenance and repair of dryers, compressors, and compressed air equipment.
- Excellent communication skills, self-motivated, self-starter, sense of urgency, personable and well organized.
- Basic PC skills, some experience using Excel or equivalent.
- Problem solving and analytical skills.
- Strong communication skills
- The ability to advise management on any issues that may impact the delivery or performance of our equipment.
- The ability to read, analyze and interpret technical design drawings.
- Must be effective at managing multiple tasks.
- An intensely strong self-motivation and the ability to work independently.
- Refrigeration and Electric compressor experience a plus.
- Ability to drive a forklift.
Regularly required to use hands and fingers to handle or feel, reaching with arms, and the ability to communicate verbally and audibly. Regularly required to lift and/or move objects weighing up to 50 lbs. Frequently required to drive, stand, walk, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl. Occasionally required to sit, climb, or balance. Specific vision abilities required for this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust and focus.
