Job Description Summary
The Account Manager provides superior customer service to GROW clients and handles all aspects of client management including onboarding, monthly communication, client retention, renewals and accounts receivable. In addition to service being the main responsibility, the Account Manager must anticipate the client's needs and foresee problem situations before they become too large to manage. All client interactions and communications will be handled in the most forthright and professional manner possible. Additionally, the Account Manager is involved in any special projects assigned by the General Manager/VP of Operations.
What You'll Do (Functions & Responsibilities)
- New client implementation and rollout. It is the job of GROW Learning's sales team to handle the acquisition and closing of new clients. Once the client has signed an agreement, the role of the Account Manager begins. Before actual rollout of the new client, the Account Manager will accomplish the following:
- Gather complete information on the new client from the GROW sales representative, as posted in the Onboarding Checklist.
- A coordination call will be scheduled by the Account Manager. The purpose of this call is to begin scheduling action items to facilitate a flawless rollout and implementation. The action items on this call include the following:
- Review and complete Onboarding Checklist.
- Schedule onboarding training for all client associates, at all levels.
- Explain rollout process with the training admin and the extent of GROW Learning's involvement in the actual rollout and ongoing support.
- Share contact information between key members of the client team and GROW Learning team.
- Begin the process for designing the client custom learner dashboard.
- Provide contact information for the GROW Learning Help Desk.
- It is the Account Manager's responsibility to ensure the schedule agreed to on the coordination call is managed appropriately and all action items are accomplished in a professional, timely manner.
- Finalize setup of the new client in the GROW Learning dashboard through the Checklist, including the final custom learner dashboard.
- Schedule weekly on-going training calls with the client, to continue until the client is fully trained.
- Once a new client has successfully been onboarded with GROW, the role of the Account Manager involves the following:
- Provide regular scheduled Zoom calls with the training administrator(s).
- Conduct follow-up phone calls/emails.
- Continue unlimited training calls.
- Promptly respond to client requests.
- Accounts receivable correspondence.
- Renewal of training agreements/rate changes.
- Consistent auditing of client accounts, system setup, client Growth Paths, courses, and resources ensuring continued use of GROW runs smoothly.
- Acknowledge any major portfolio adjustments and anticipated needs, including training or other communication to new team members.
- Ensure the client is fully trained and utilizing GROW, making them aware of all of GROW Learning's 'extra' functionality/options to consistently build value for our products and services.
- Upsell of additional catalogs, products and services offered through GROW or other partners.
- Any other projects or tasks assigned by the General Manager or other Inhabit team members.
What We're Looking For (Minimum qualifications)
- Advanced working knowledge of all Microsoft Office products with a focus on Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
- Strong understanding of support management principles.
- Ability to perform mathematical calculations for creating business cases, budgets, Excel formulas, etc.
- Highly self-motivated and directed.
- Exceptional attention to detail.
- Ability to read, analyze, and interpret common legal documents.
- Extraordinary customer service skills.
- Remote office experience.
- Excellent verbal and written communication, as well as interpersonal skills.
- Must have advanced knowledge of the day-to-day operations of Property Management. Property Manager on-site experience, and corporate level training experience is recommended.
- Familiarize self with other brands and keep abreast of new Strategic Partners/cross-sell opportunities as they arise.
- Work with all GROW team members for unified support to all clients.
