Service Technician

Position- Service Technician (mid-senior level)

Location – DC Metro

INI inc is a high-end home automation solutions provider. We are currently looking for a motivated senior level Service Technician whose main role is to ensure the highest quality of customer service to our residential clients in the DC Metro Area. This opportunity offers a potential compensation through a combination of base salary and earned commissions.

As a Service Technician in the field, you will;

· Communicate directly with clients as needed to ensure the best possible experience with their custom install.

· Create consistency in service fulfillment

· Work with Leadership in controlling costs and delivering productivity goals by monitoring and analyzing business/results on a daily, weekly and monthly basis.

· Participate in ride-a-longs if needed to understand the scope of work to ensure the techs know and of course display a positive impact on the client if involved.

· Manage escalations and communicate with management, scheduling and partners on customer issues.

Basic Qualifications:

· Excellent customer service, communication and organizational skills

· High School Diploma or equivalent

· 5 years of customer and/or leadership experience in the AV industry

· Have a valid and current driver's license

· A clear driving record (no convictions in the last 3 years of: DUI, no more than 2 moving violations or accidents)

Must Have Qualifications:

· 5 years of Consumer electronics repair, residential and or commercial installation experience

· Proficient experience working with Savant and Lutron products specifically and other home control systems a plus (i.e. Crestron, Control4)

Pay: $22.00 - $25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
