Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Gardener to join our team. As a Gardener, you will be responsible for maintaining and enhancing the appearance of our gardens, lawns, and landscapes. Your expertise in using power tools, hand tools, and knowledge of horticulture will be essential in ensuring the health and beauty of our outdoor spaces.

Duties:
- Perform general garden maintenance tasks such as planting, weeding, pruning, and mulching
- Operate power tools and equipment to mow lawns, trim hedges, and remove debris
- Maintain irrigation systems to ensure proper watering of plants
- Monitor plant health and identify and treat diseases or pests as needed
- Assist in the design and installation of new gardens or landscapes
- Collaborate with other team members to plan and execute garden improvement projects
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of garden tools and equipment
- Adhere to safety guidelines when working with chemicals or operating machinery

Experience:
- Previous experience working as a Gardener or in a similar role preferred
- Knowledge of horticulture principles, plant care, and landscaping techniques
- Familiarity with power tools and hand tools used in gardening
- Ability to operate machinery such as lawn mowers, trimmers, and blowers
- Understanding of irrigation systems and their maintenance
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently or as part of a team
- Physical stamina to perform manual labor in various weather conditions

Skills:
- Proficiency in using power tools for lawn care and landscape maintenance
- Knowledge of greenhouse operations for plant propagation
- Experience with farm or groundskeeping work is a plus
- Familiarity with different types of plants, flowers, trees, and shrubs
- Ability to use hand tools effectively for gardening tasks

Job Type: Temporary

Pay: $12.00 - $15.00 per hour

Expected hours: 10 – 25 per week
