Position Summary

The Program Scheduler will be responsible for planning and tracking development programs for space products. You will work directly with Project Engineering Managers and Lead Engineers to create Microsoft project plans for multiple concurrent projects.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following:

  • Plan and direct all planning and scheduling operations for assigned programs
  • Development of an Integrated Master Schedule (IMS) for each program
  • Resource loading for each IMS
  • Detail planning and maintenance throughout the program's lifecycle
  • Support weekly and monthly reviews of IMS status and metrics
  • Detailed analysis of the IMS to ensure quality, completeness and compliance

Minimum Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities)

  • Expert MS Project user
  • Experience with Earned Value Management Systems (EVMS)
  • Experience with critical path management
  • Experience scheduling for product development cycles
  • Bachelor's degree and 3 years of relevant experience OR
  • In absence of a degree 5 years of relevant experience is required
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills and ability to make presentations to management
  • MS Office Suite
