Responsibilities
The Center Manager manages the daily center related operations of the center and related departments. Ensures operations are in compliance with all governing regulations.
- Responsible for operational results against established service standards, budget and other financial criteria.
- Assists in development and implementation of performance improvement plans as indicated by evaluation of same.
- Participates in the development and monitoring of compliance and monitoring/compliance to staffing guidelines including use of temporary and agency staff.
- Recommends changes in service delivery and staffing as required by the development and growth of the agency.
- Participates regularly in all quality assurance/quality improvement committees as part of the overall quality improvement program.
- Monitors the center’s operational compliance with local, state and federal regulations and policies and procedures. Ensures a safe and clean environment is consistently maintained for staff and program participants.
- Provides administrative on-call coverage on a rotation basis.
- Acts as facilitator and is a member of the PACE Inter-Disciplinary Team (IDT).
- Assists in development and implementation of PACE operational policies, procedures, protocols and regulations for direct participant care and support services.
- Assists Area Center Director or Center Director in conjunction with compliance and quality,with maintaining the stability and reputation of center by insuring that all activities and operations are performed in compliance with local, state, and federal contracts, regulations, laws, accreditation, protocol, licensing and certification requirements governing InnovAge PACE operations. Establishes positive working relationships with health and social service providers.
- Assists with the development of operational budgets for departments of accountability.
- Directs, supervises and evaluates the performance of center management team.
- Effectively supervises and manages direct reports and provides, by example and leadership, motivation and direction to employees of the organization.
- Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable state and federal employment laws.
- Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; recognizing and rewarding employees; corrective disciplinary procedures and practices (under direction of supervisor and in partnership with Human Resources), addressing complaints and resolving problems.
- Ensures annual employee performance reviews are conducted in a timely and effective manner. Evaluates performance of employees for compliance with established policies and objectives of the organization and contributions in attaining objectives.
- Helps set the tone of the department to ensure morale, team work, and that the positive employment culture of the organization is maintained.
- Regularly schedules leadership/management, department, and staff 1:1 meetings to provide leadership, development, and a forum for communication to ensure coordination and collaboration in meeting organization and individual goals.
REQUIRED
- 7 yrs healthcare experience
- 3 yrs supervising staff.
- A minimum of one year experience working with the frail or elderly
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, a health or human services field, or a related field from an accredited college/university

Salary ranges are dependent on a variety of factors, including qualifications, experience, and geographic location. Range is not inclusive of potential bonus or benefits.
