Senior IVF/REI Nurse

We currently have an opening for a full-time Senior REI/IVF Nurse to join our highly motivated and results-driven team.

Our only purpose is to help our patients become a family. The Senior IVF Nurse is a critical partner in this mission.

The Senior REI/IVF Nurse contributes to the Physician’s effectiveness by identifying patient care issues; providing information and commentary pertinent to the patient care plan; recommending possible options as appropriate and implementing physician directives. The Senior REI/IVF Nurse establishes an empathic patient experience by providing emotional and psychological support to all our patients. This position will assist with in-office procedures and do basic hands-on patient care as needed. The Senior REI/IVF Nurse serves as a mentor to other clinical personnel, ensuring a high level of care for our patients.

The ideal candidate will have reproductive medicine. In addition, and especially important, the ideal candidate should have the ability to quickly establish credibility, confidence, and trust with our patients.

This position requires excellent interpersonal skills to work collaboratively with our multidisciplinary team toward positive patient outcomes. It is a leadership position and seen as a steadying influence - a source of sound judgment.

Education and Experience:

• North Carolina RN license without limitations. BSN Degree preferred
• Minimum 3 years clinical experience in women’s healthcare. Reproductive medicine experience is highly preferred
• Previous leadership experience highly preferred
• BCLS/ACLS and/or IV certifications a plus. (We will sponsor appropriate candidates for one or more of these certifications if necessary.)
• High-level listening and counseling skills. Excellent telephone presentation
• Resourceful and well-organized. Committed to detail and follow-up
• Ability to work independently and demonstrate good judgment
• Most have proficient computer skills; both EMR and Microsoft office required
• Excellent interpersonal skills. Must relate well with patients, peers, physicians, and management. Must be genuinely concerned for people, respectful, and be able to use diplomacy and tact in tense situations
• Ability to work in a high-standard stressful environment
• Must be able to work some weekends and holidays
