Job Description Summary:
To assist the Credit Union in achieving our mission to provide service that exceeds our member's expectations by earning members' trust through cooperative relationships. This is achieved by providing outstanding service to both internal and external members. Responsible for end-user hardware and ongoing software support and hardware maintenance. Assist the IT Director with daily operations of Credit Union IT functions.
Essential Job Functions:
- Maintain internal infrastructure requirements, including laptop and desktop computers, servers, routers, switches, firewalls, printers, phones, security updates; support internet, intranet, LANs, WANs, and network segments (30%)
- Manage user accounts, credentials, permissions, access rights, storage allocations, and active directory administration (25%)
- Perform routine and scheduled audits of designated systems, including backups (15%)
- Develops recommendations for cost efficiencies and enhancements to products, processes, and services (15%)
- Performs daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual scheduled IT tasks, including managing file transmissions, reviewing automated tasks for accuracy, and running manual system processes on a scheduled basis. (5%)
- Research upcoming products, service protocols, and standards in support of systems software procurement and development efforts (5%)
- Performs other duties as assigned. (5%)

- College degree, professional training, or industry-recognized certification is preferred but not required
- Prolonged periods of standing, sitting at a desk, and working on a computer
- Must be able to carry and lift objects to 50 lb

Work Environment:
- This position requires the ability to manage a remote working environment when necessary. Prior management approval is required.
