Automotive/bus A/C Installation Technician
Innovative Mobile Solutions, LLC is looking to hire professional subcontractors that are eager to contract with a company that is growing in leaps and bounds. We pay our subcontractors on a per piece contract and we pay top dollar for work performed. This is an excellent career opportunity for an Air Conditioning Installation Technician
We primarily install on new and used School Buses and Commercial (Shuttle Type) Buses. The typical components are Compressor, Condenser, Evaporator, Mounts, Pulleys, Hoses and Electrical.
Responsibilities:
- Work in a shop environment with your hands
- Accurately install components on buses
- Be able to work with minimal supervision as well as part of a team
- Work with a safety mindset
- Properly maintain company owned building, tools & equipment
- Successfully communicate with Location Manager, Office Staff and Team Members
- Complete work in a timely and accurate manner
- Perform other tasks as required
- Must supply your own tools
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in automotive, maintenance, or other related fields
- Must have experience that can be verified
- Competent with hand tools and safety standards
- Ability to handle physical workload
- Ability to work well in teams
- Ability to prioritize and multitask
- Provide reliable transportation
- Valid driver's license; satisfactory driving record
- Good written and oral communication skills
- Must have a smartphone
- Able to pass background check and drug screen
Education and Work Experience:
- 2 years of relevant experience
- High School Diploma or GED
- Technical School is a plus
- Knowledge of Mobile Air Conditioning is a plus
- 609 Certification is a plus
- CDL is a plus
- Former employment as a technician or Mechanic is a plus
Job Type: Contract
Pay: $22.00 - $35.00 per hour
Schedule:
- 10 hour shift
- Day shift
- Monday to Friday

- Automotive repair: 2 years (Preferred)
