General Dentist Office Manager, is looking for a reliable, hard-working individual to provide supervisory support to our progressive practice. MUST HAVE DENTAL ADMIN EXPERIENCE FOR AT LEAST 3 YEARS
Duties & Responsibilities
- Lead by example and coach team to provide exceptional patient experiences.
- Maintain focus on a productive schedule that supports Doctors and clinical assistants as they deliver high quality patient care and exceptional experiences.
- Work within budget guidelines to maintain supported office profitability.
- Oversee and assist the controller with accounts receivables including timely and accurate patient billing.
- Coordinate daily team huddles, weekly team meetings and quarterly practice team builders.
- Provide ongoing feedback, training and annual performance & salary reviews for team members within the practice.
- Serve as the point person for office management duties including:
o Office cleaning and maintenance
o Verifying practice invoices
o Verifying and submitting payroll
o Non-clinical supplies ordering
o Schedule team members to ensure adequate shift coverage and facilitate requests for time off.
- Maintain protocols and guidelines as they relate to patient privacy (HIPAA) and team member safety (OSHA).
- Assist in the interviewing, on-boarding, and training of new hires.
- Supervising all front and back office staff.
- Overseeing patient scheduling.
- Maintaining a professional and positive work environment.
- Document and communicate and corrective actions needed to correct staff behavior.
- Handle all patient/parent escalations and addressing concerns within the practice.
- Communicate with the general manager and owner regularly regarding all aspects of the office; including, but not limited to, staff concerns, collections and patient care.
Education, Skills, & Qualifications Requirements
- Associates degree with at least 2 years of relevant experience preferred but not required
- Prior supervisory or management experience preferred
