HR/Payroll Specialist
INOVATIV, Inc. is a fast-growing product design and manufacturing company located in Azusa, California. INOVATIV products are known for their reliability, durability, tool-less assembly, and clever design. We are looking for a strong team player to support with HR/Payroll tasks. The right person for this position needs to be a team player, well organized and have good skill with employee relations.
Job Description
- HR
Managing the employee life cycle (i.e., recruiting, hiring, onboarding, training, and terminations) and administering employee benefits.
Managing STD and LTD, EDD filings, etc.
Coordinating Employee performance reviews
Administrative duties including but not limited to proper filing and record keeping
Ensuring proper posters are displayed in the employee areas
Ensuring compliance with safety regulations
- Payroll
Processing employees' paychecks by collecting their payroll data and timesheets
Verifying employees' work hours and payment through the payroll system, issuing deductions, earnings and other statements to employees and updating payroll records regularly
Receiving and verifying timesheets and invoices from recruiting agencies ( Manpower)
Maintaining employees database
Managing time off requests
Providing ad-hoc payroll reports to controller per requests
Providing payroll journals to Controller on a bi-weekly basis
Providing data for Worker's Compensation Audit
Managing 401K contributions and 5500 filings
