We are currently seeking a motivated Lead Print Designer to join our team.

What you will do:

  • Serve as technical product expert & designer for manufactured products which include a printed component. Produce product drawings and specifications for both custom and standard printed products. Consult with internal and external clients on the design specific needs of their project.
  • Create drawings and production layouts for the IPC and ASCEND Divisions
  • Work directly with customers, interior designers, inside Sales Reps and outside Territory Managers to produce accurate and high-quality specification drawings for end user review
  • Verify that submitted product designs are within our manufacturing capabilities
  • Inspect artwork and selected media to ensure they meet the minimum production standards
  • Prepare all artwork and graphics for the pre-press production team
  • Act as a liaison between manufacturing, Product Management and Sales regarding product development, design and manufacturing
  • Research, create and maintain divisional specific assets such as graphics and photography

What you will know:

  • Proficiency in graphic design software including, but not limited to Corel Draw, Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, Lightroom and InDesign
  • Working knowledge of AutoCAD other CAD based software
  • The ability to read and understand engineering drawings, elevation layouts and floor plans
  • Direct and current knowledge of industry standard imaging, graphic and typography file types

Education and Skills you will have:

  • Bachelor's degree in graphic arts, design, or similar discipline preferred. Diploma from a two-year college with 2 years of related experience and/or training. Or, equal combination of education and experience.
  • Must possess excellent communications, computer and organizational skills.
  • Working knowledge of direct to surface printing techniques and the processes used at Inpro.
