Job Description
Manages product and company resources; ensuring accurate inventory held by the company, and those shipped to other locations. Recognizes and resolve quantity discrepancies, make quantity reports, create request tickets as needed, and prepare extensive quantitative statements that help with inventory control duties.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Maintain accurate inventory counts in all warehouses, communicating with Warehouse Managers and having cycle counts conducted as needed
- Devise ways to optimize inventory control procedures
- Use the Warehouse Management System to create inventory lists used in the warehouses for picking and returning gear
- Record the actual counts of equipment picked and returned by warehouse personnel
- Identify shortages of required equipment and arrange transfers from other warehouses to fill shortages
- Conduct future planning, ensuring that the company has sufficient materials for mission accomplishment of future jobs providing Bill of Materials (BOM) for purchases, as needed.
- Work closely with field technicians to solve equipment shortage issues on site
- Work closely with the Design team to cure equipment shortages and determine best use of available equipment
- Work as needed with the Sales team; provide updates on gear outlook and availability, as well as specific equipment needs to ensure customer satisfaction
- Participate in company meetings and provide recommendations on how to make inventory control responsibilities more efficient Supervise and train the Assistant Inventory Specialist
- Creative thinker with the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously

- Data Analysis
- Complete computer and internet fluency, Office 365 and IBM Notes is preferred
- Ability to communicate and work closely with a diverse group of employees across the country
- Basic understanding of the warehousing and trucking
- Ability to Travel 10% of the time
