Description
The purpose of the Producer is to drive new business and sales growth, while retaining existing clients and revenue.
Primary Duties & Responsibilities
As a Private Client Sales Producer, you will work with high net worth clients on a daily basis tailoring to their personal insurance needs.
- Develop and qualify leads to drive additional sales opportunities through cold calling, networking and other lead generation resources
- Use a consultative sales approach, gather information and present proposals and presentations to C-level executives
- Establish strong relationships with clients and create network referrals
- Obtain professional and technical knowledge by attending industry workshops, reviewing industry publications, establishing industry professional networks and continued education
- Create positive synergy with internal partners and pursue cross-selling opportunities with other lines of business (Property/Casualty and Personal lines) to enhance and cultivate prospect and client relationships
- Develop, maintain and communicate expertise on products, industry and emerging market trends, including legislative and regulatory issues
- Effectively coordinate with account management and support teams
- Maintain trust with various insurance carrier partners
- Positively and proactively represent Insgroup in meetings, seminars and networking events
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree
- Minimum of 2 years of outside business to business sales experience
- Ability to build long-term relationships with C-level executives and business owners
- Experience selling in affluent market highly preferred
- Ability to network effectively with affluent social networks
- Detailed and analytical
- Motivated and results driven
- Ability to act independently
- Willingness to travel locally
