Kenyon College is conducting a search for a qualified candidate to fill the position of Campus Safety Telecommunications Officer, Full-Time.
Hours per week are Friday through Tuesday 11pm to 7am. Days off will be Wednesday and Thursday.
The rate of pay is $18.00 between the hours of 11 : 00pm to 7 : 00am. Full-Time Campus Safety Telecommunication Officers receive double their hourly pay rate when scheduled to work a shift during recognized college holidays.
This is a collectively bargained position and with benefits.
This position is responsible for safety operations in the Office of Campus Safety through the dispatch center within the Office of Campus Safety and must show proficiency and support of the listed Telecommunications Officer duties and responsibilities listed.
Safety operations include gathering information and discriminating information concerning criminal incidents, emergency medical incidents, hazardous incidents, potentially violent incidents, auto accidents, and others.
The Telecommunications Officer position works with the shift Supervisors, Director of Campus Safety, Assistant Director of Campus Safety and Division of Student Affairs to ensure that information gathered in general campus calls and situations are appropriately logged and prepared for reports.
