A partner of Insight Global is looking for an Operations Manager to join their team in Atlanta, GA. This person will pay a crucial role in overseeing the efficient workflow of the warehouse from production to distribution. They will be responsible for managing warehouse operations, resolving disputes, overseeing invoicing processes, implementing solutions and utilizing NetSuite for inventory tracking and sales optimization.
1. Warehouse Operations Management:
● Oversee day-to-day warehouse activities, including receiving, storage, and shipping of skincare products.
● Ensure adherence to safety protocols and compliance with regulatory standards.
● Implement best practices for inventory management to minimize stockouts and overstock situations.
● Create an automation process so that the team has a professional and efficient operations department.
2. Logistics Coordination:
● Collaborate with logistics partners to streamline transportation and distribution processes.
● Optimize routing and scheduling to meet delivery deadlines and minimize transportation costs. ● Monitor and track shipments using NetSuite and operation software to ensure on-time delivery and promptly resolve logistical issues.
3. Dispute Resolution:
● Act as a primary point of contact for resolving disputes with big-box retail partners related to shipping, product quality, or invoicing discrepancies.
● Work closely with internal teams and external partners to address issues promptly and ensure customer satisfaction.
4. Invoicing and Financials:
● Oversee the invoicing process, ensuring accuracy and timeliness in billing big-box retail customers, as well as follow up with payments.
● Utilize NetSuite to generate purchase orders (POs), track sales orders, and reconcile accounts receivable/payable.
● Collaborate with bookkeepers to ensure all inventory and sales transactions are accurately recorded and tracked in NetSuite.
5. Automation and Process Improvement:
● Identify opportunities for process automation and implement technological solutions to streamline warehouse and logistics workflows.
● Continuously assess existing processes and systems to identify inefficiencies and areas for improvement.
● Lead initiatives to enhance operational efficiency, reduce manual tasks, and increase overall productivity.
● Building a strong warehouse and logistic operations that support the business in the USA and Mexico.
● Driving operational excellence within the team and customer satisfaction. 6. Forecast-based Purchase Orders:
● Analyze sales trends and market demand to forecast inventory needs accurately in a weekly basis.
● Create purchase orders in NetSuite based on forecasted demand, taking into account lead times and supplier capabilities.
● Coordinate with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of inventory and adjust purchase orders as needed based on changes in demand or availability.
Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.
