Position: HR Manager
Location: Laurel, MD (Hybrid)
Insight Global is looking for a fulltime HR Manager to work hybrid out of the PG County area. This individual will be involved in employee relations, talent acquisition, benefits administration, payroll, management support, and other initiatives.
Requirements:
- Minimum 5 years of relevant human resources experience
- Understanding of general human resources policies and procedures
- Strong knowledge of employment/labor laws
- Outstanding knowledge of MS Office; HRIS systems (e.g., ADP, Deltek) a plus
- Excellent communication and people skills
- Experience with social media platforms including LinkedIn
- Bachelor’s degree in human resources or related field or comparable experience
- PHR or SHRM-CP certification preferred'
- Ability to pass pre-employment drug screening
Responsibilities:
- Manage various HR needs for company employees.
- Write and post job descriptions for open positions on various platforms.
- Screen resumes and facilitate interviews.
- Process offers, new hire paperwork, benefits paperwork, and personnel onboarding.
- Perform benefits administration including processing benefit enrollments, terminations, changes, and open enrollment.
- Prepare company payroll.
- Answer employee HR-related questions.
- Help managers implement HR policies and best practices.
- Maintain paperwork for medical, disability, voluntary, and retirement benefits including 401k and ESOP.
- Ensure compliance with USCIS form I-9 employment eligibility, E-Verify, and periodic audits.
- Create and maintain personnel files for all employees in compliance with applicable legal requirements.
- Assist with government compliance recordkeeping to include Affirmative Action Reports, FMLA paperwork, and First Reports of Injury for workers compensation.
- Advise management on employee relations, compensation, benefits, performance management, talent acquisition, and legal compliance issues.
- Serve as an ambassador for the Human Resources Department by promoting department programs related to employee health, training, and well-being.
- Comply with federal, state, and local legal requirements by studying existing and new legislation, anticipating legislation, enforcing adherence to requirements, and advising management on needed actions..
- Plan and execute other HR related assignments, tasks, and special projects as needed.

Pay: $70,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year
