Insight Global is seeking an HR Manager to support a construction client in Mclean, Va with frequent travel around the DMV. The ideal candidate will support the full scope of Human Resources responsibilities and partner with the organization on strategic initiatives. They will maintain and enhance the organization's human resources by planning, implementing, and evaluating human resources policies, programs, and practices.
Responsibilities include:
- Strategic HR Management: Implementing strategic business planning and partnering, focusing on aligning HR services with business objectives.
- Talent Development: Leading initiatives in leadership development, talent and performance management, and employee career progression.
- Change Management: Facilitating change management processes and workforce planning to adapt to evolving business needs.
- HR Policy Enhancement: Recommending and implementing improvements to HR systems, policies, and processes based on best practices and market trends.
- Coaching and Advising: Serving as a credible coach and advisor for both employees and management, addressing performance issues and providing guidance.
- Employee Relations: Collaborating with line managers to resolve employee relations issues, ensuring fair representation of all parties.
- Engagement Initiatives: Driving programs to boost employee engagement and foster a positive work environment.
- Training Coordination: Working with the Training and Development team to assess and fulfill the training requirements of employees.
- Feedback Mechanism: Offering constructive feedback to business leaders regarding talent management, identifying opportunities for growth and development.
- Compensation Alignment: Coordinating with the Compensation and Benefits team to ensure equitable and competitive compensation structures.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree is preferred
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in people management and HR roles in the construction or manufacturing
- Experience dealing with field or labor force employees
Salary : $110,000 - $135,000
