What are the responsibilities and job description for the Remote Porting Specialist position at Insight Global?
JOB DESCRIPTION
- Lead Customers through number porting process from initial planning to porting completion, managing and monitoring all stages of number porting process.
- Obtain LOAs (Letters of Authorization) and all required information from Customers to request porting from incumbent Service Provider to new Service Provider. Drive actions to address and rectify incomplete or rejected orders.
- Coordinate with Customers, AudioCodes Professional Services teams, and Service Provider Partners to schedule porting events, and provide professional communication and coordination among all involved parties.
- Lead porting events, acting as central coordinator to ensure all parties are moving forward to successful porting completion.
- Serve as first level escalation for issues during porting events, coordinating with internal and external parties to drive resolution of issues.
- Build strong relationships with 3rd parties and Service Providers to facilitate better Customer experience and faster issue resolution
- Work with AudioCodes Order Management to ensure proper closure and billing of porting activities.
- Accurately record Customer issues, document resolutions, and share lessons learned.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
- BS/BA or equivalent
- Minimum of 2 years direct working experience in Telecom and Data communications with an emphasis on voice applications
- Experience with Gateway, SBC deployments and Number Porting is a plus.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
- Accepts responsibility, is results oriented, resourceful, self-motivated and accountable for achieving implementation and customer satisfaction targets.
- Strong organizational skills, able to work on multiple projects simultaneously and effectively with high level of attention to detail
- Strong ability to deal with ambiguity, effectively cope with change, shift gears comfortably, decide and act without having all the details, and manage risk and uncertainty
