Must Haves
- Bachelor's degree and minimum 2 years of experience with marine industry, electrical engineering or diesel engine experience or Associate degree and minimum 4 years of experience with marine industry, electrical engineering or diesel engine experience or High School Diploma or GED and minimum 8 years of experience with marine industry, electrical engineering or diesel engine experience
- Ability to negotiate, persuade and influence in relation with our customers and shipyards
- Excellent presentation design and delivery skills as well as ability to drive programs, manage service jobs and review technically complex service reports
- Experience with the cruise industry and or oil and gas offshore industry
Plusses
- Technical background with Engineering degree preferred
- Minimum of 3 years experience in service business related to Marine Industry or Electrical Engineering
- Minimum of 3 years experience in SAP tracking service orders, purchase orders and working time
Day to Day
A global automation client of Insight Global is looking for a Service Coordinator to serve as the single point for customer during service jobs execution. This individual will coordinate, plan, schedule and oversee all service jobs with necessary resources, spare parts and logistics for site. The Service Coordinator will manage customer satisfaction by ensuring that the company fulfils its contractual obligations and business requirements. This person will review the scope of the work and ensure that all parties fulfil their contractual obligations, particularly regarding claims and changes. It is the responsibility of the Service Coordinator to manage the service order process in a timely manner from quotation to invoicing and cash collection. This individual will manage all required reporting and documentation, and ensure all necessary data has been registered in a timely manner in the system including service reports. The ideal candidate will have experience cooperating and coordinating activities with other internal units and teams to harmonize service activities and to maximize service sales at every opportunity. The Service Coordinator will ensure the transfer of service findings to the product or system local business units for improvement of their offerings Support customers with high level interface and close working relations, providing consultancy and advice to maintain the product in accordance with manufacturer's instructions. All quality aspects and discipline for job execution, through standard presentation of components following service or repair, including final in house job inspection to documentation, that is quotations, invoice document preparation, service engineer expense and time sheet approval, timely service report completion, emails etc. within company guidelines or regulations will be the responsibility of this individual. The Service Coordinator will oversee all aspects of commercial documentation and communication, with an understanding of financial and legal aspects of contracting with the customers and suppliers Review and evaluate shop and service reports, suggest and implement corrective actions where necessary.
Salary : $75,000 - $90,000
