Job Description
An employer is looking for a User Experience (UX) Designer for a permanent opportunity that can work on a hybrid schedule out of the Louisville, KY area. This employee will join a team of 2 other designers and immediately support this organization with designing new and existing applications that are used internally and externally. To be successful in this role, a candidate must have experience supporting the full lifecycle of the design process (Understanding, Research, Analyze and Design phases) and must have experience supporting the design of a software application. This employee also needs to have strong communication skills to collaborate with internal stakeholder groups (Business Analysts, Software Developers and End-Users) to complete the project. Strong project management and critical thinking skills are also highly preferred as this individual will work on several projects (2-3) at a time to provide creative guidance and interaction design and delivery of wireframes, design storyboards and design specifications documentation.

- Degree/Certification in a digital media-- certificate from bootcamp, program
- User experience testing - A/B testing, task testing and paper testing
- Project Management skills
- Design System Experience
- 3-5 years of experience in a UI/UX role dealing with the full lifecycle design process -- Understand phase, Research, Analyze, Design
- Experience working on the design functionality and user experience of an application that interfaces with Software Developers, Business Analysts, and stakeholders
- Experience working with design software -- Adobe XD, Figma or Sketch
- Experience creating wireframe prototypes -high and low fidelity
- Excellent collaboration, communication, and critical thinking skills
