What are the responsibilities and job description for the SCOM Engineer position at Insight?

The SCOM Customer Engineer will work directly with customers, as a consultant and technical advisor to:
Design, Deploy, Review, and Assess the Health of their infrastructure.
Upgrade and maintain their deployments.
Troubleshoot issues with infrastructure and agents.
Tune and optimize for the most performance.
Assist with reporting and visualizations.
Implement new management packs.
Assist in the development of custom management packs.
Provide training in all areas of SCOM to ensure customer goals are met.
Ideal candidate experience:
1.5-10 years working as a depth expert, technology owner, or consultant for SCOM.
2.Broad knowledge across multiple monitoring scenarios:
3.Windows and Linux Operating Systems
4.SQL Server, Active Directory, Certificates, IIS, MCM
5.Management Pack Authoring using XML, Visual Studio
6.URL, Network Monitoring
7.Connecting to ITSM systems
8.Dashboards, Reporting, and Visualizations
9.Scripting language skills, primarily in PowerShell
10.Deep-level knowledge in at least 3 of the above categories
11.Ability to present to multiple levels of leadership.
