We're looking for someone with a comprehensive understanding of computer hardware and software concepts to provide exceptional support to Insight Customers. As the frontline for customer inquiries, you'll need to possess excellent communication skills and the ability to resolve problems quickly and efficiently.

Key responsibilities:

  • Effectively manage issues through multiple forms of inbound requests including in-person, queue calls (phone), emails, chat, web forms, or client tracking/ticketing databases.
  • Respond to all customer requests in a timely and professional manner.
  • Instruct end-users in the appropriate use of equipment, software, and reference materials.
  • Provide technical support and effectively troubleshoot and resolve issues related to hardware/software, password resets, Microsoft operating systems, security, desktop applications, and peripherals.
  • Research and troubleshoot issues using the available tools.
  • Proactively follow up on all open issues.
  • Work closely with other team members to identify and suggest resolutions and improvements.
  • Other duties as assigned .

What you'll need to succeed:

  • Legal authorization to work in the United States.
  • Two-year Associate Degree (field related) or equivalent experience required.
  • Minimum of one-year helpdesk experience in a corporate environment, two years preferred.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of computer hardware/software concepts, including Microsoft products and network/account management tools.
  • Ability to diagnose and resolve moderately complex system hardware, software, network, and operator issues.
  • Related certifications including Microsoft Technology Associate (MTA), A , Network , preferred but not required.
  • Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business/professional journals, technical procedures, or regulations.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, customers, and teammates
  • Excellent customer service and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Ability to work in a team environment and present a professional image.
  • Ability to multi-task and be flexible with assigned work schedule.

Salary &:Shift Hours

* $17.50/hr and non-negotiable - you can receive overtime pay. It's provided on an as-needed basis by the business.
* Shift days and hours for this role vary - we operate off a 24/7 work model and openings for shifts depend on the need for full coverage
* We currently have the following shift available and you'll work the shift based on the time zone you reside in:
o Tuesday - Saturday

  • 7 PM - 3:30 AM PT
  • 8 PM - 4:30 AM MT/AZT
  • 9 PM - 5:30 AM CT
  • 10 PM - 6:30 AM ET
