Chief Operations Officer (COO)
Quantimetrix, located in Redondo Beach, California, is a family-owned business that designs, develops, and manufactures clinical laboratory quality controls. We have been delivering industry-leading products and services to the medical community for nearly 50 years.
We seek a well-qualified candidate to lead our Research and Development team in developing new products and continued innovation and improvement of our existing product lines.
You should have:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, MBA preferred.
- 5 years of experience in Executive leadership roles in medical manufacturing.
- Detail oriented.
- Strategic planning and business development experience.
- Ability to manage, evaluate, and mentor staff.
- Understanding of advanced business planning and regulatory issues.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Your responsibilities as the Chief Operations Officer will include:
- Report to and collaborate with the CEO in formulating and implementing company objectives, strategies, and policies.
- Translate company goals into operational procedures.
- Oversee day-to-day operations and monitor the progress of current projects.
- Identify areas that require corrective action.
- Work closely with Senior Management Team to design operational processes that promote growth, efficiency, and profitability.
- Provide mentoring and a growth-oriented environment while keeping employees and management accountable to company policies, procedures, and guidelines.
- Help maintain and support the regulatory quality system.
