What are the responsibilities and job description for the Integration Architect position at Inspire Brands?
This position sits in our Atlanta Support Center, with the expectation to be onsite 80% of the time.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Integration Strategy Development
- Develop and maintain the integration strategy aligned with the organization's business objectives.
- Define standards, guidelines, and best practices for integration architecture and design.
- Develop and evolve the integration strategy to support cloud-native principles and architectures.
- Define patterns and best practices for cloud-native integration, including API management, event-driven architecture, and service mesh.
Solution Design
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather integration requirements and translate them into scalable architecture designs.
- Design end-to-end integration solutions that meet business needs while adhering to architectural principles.
- Evaluate and recommend appropriate integration technologies and tools.
- Architect and implement integration solutions using cloud-native tools and services, ensuring high availability, fault tolerance, and scalability.
Integration Implementation
- Lead the implementation of integration solutions, including middleware configuration, API development, data mapping, and transformation.
- Work closely with development teams to ensure proper implementation of integration designs.
Integration Governance
- Establish and enforce integration governance processes to maintain data integrity, security, and compliance.
- Define and monitor service-level agreements (SLAs) for integration services.
- Conduct regular reviews and audits of integration architecture to identify areas for improvement.
Collaboration and Communication
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including software developers, business analysts, and system architects to understand integration requirements and constraints.
- Communicate integration strategies, designs, and issues effectively to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Provide guidance and mentorship to junior integration team members.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE QUALIFICATIONS
- 4-year degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field.
- Proven experience in integration architecture design and implementation.
- In-depth knowledge of integration technologies such as ESB, API Management, message brokers, and ETL tools.
- Hands-on experience with programming languages (e.g., Java, Python), web services (REST, SOAP), and data formats (JSON, XML).
- Relevant certifications (e.g., TOGAF, MuleSoft Certified Integration Architect) preferred.
- Experience in integration with SaaS and COTS applications.
REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, or ABILITIES
- Familiarity with cloud-based integration platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) and microservices architecture.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to analyze complex systems and propose effective solutions.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams and levels of the organization.
