Data Analyst

This role is 100% remote and based anywhere in the USA.

Our client is a well-funded B2B SaaS Construction Tech startup that is looking to scale from 1MM to 3-5MM ARR over the next year. They are hiring a Data Engineer to join their team immediately!

The Data Analyst role will work closely with stakeholders to help identify reporting and analysis needs. This person will need to have experience with using data to frame, scale, visualize and find solutions. 

 Responsibilities and Duties

• Work with key stakeholders to identify reporting and analysis needs
• Frame and scale data to analyze, visualize and find data solutions
• Facilitate delivery of ad hoc analysis and data requests
• Transform data and analysis into informative data visualizations and interactive dashboards to increase the visibility of key metrics
• Assist in maintaining data lineage allowing users to trace data reliably to the point of origin and pinpoint any quality problems in the data pipelines
• Ability to tell a story with data

Qualifications and Skills

• Bachelor’s Degree in Math, Business, Economics, Computer Science, or related quantitative field
• 2 years of relevant data analysis experience 
• Fast learner with the ability to adopt new data analytical processes
• Ability to work collaboratively within a team to execute on shared deadlines and goals
• Ability to apply data analysis strategies and frameworks in appropriate contexts
• Knowledge of probability and statistics to aid teams in understanding the strength of results
• Good communication skills and ability to explain complex topics to both technical and non-technical audiences as well

Bonus: 

• Background/experience in Construction and/or Architecture
