A day in the life:
The manager leads in all aspects of the boutique and has constant communication with their team and Director. They are quick to identify areas of opportunity and act upon such discoveries. They learn from success and are constantly growing, adapting and pivoting to make this the best possible situation for employees to thrive, customers to delight, and company valuation to soar.
· Responsible for the successful execution of a quarterly objective using all resources at hand.
· Responsible for the training, upskilling and oversight of their team.
· Responsible for leading motivating, data driven meetings to maintain company culture and boost morale.
· Drive creative new thoughts and strategies with the Director and team to push the limits of a traditional retail business.
· Think outside of the box and are ready to work unique angles to accomplish new results,
· Partner with merchandising to ensure appropriateness of displays in order to maximize visibility and profitability.
· Maintain relationships within the community to further the brand knowledge, awareness, and cultivate opportunities.
· Maintain the highest level of loyalty to the brand, product, and merchandise at all times.
Qualifications:
· 3 years team management experience, 5 years preferred
· Mastery of schedule creation
· Strong leader who can motivate while maintaining a positive, professional and uplifting work environment
· Excels at training and motivating a variety of personalities
· Ability to guide and facilitate learning experiences and face tough conversations head on
· Focus on creating an extraordinary guest experience, organizational and time management skills
· Excellent communication skills - interpersonal, written and verbal
· Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously; Self-starter approach to work, with an eagerness to consistently meet and exceed objectives and take on more responsibility
· Entrepreneurship - an ability to make decisions and take calculated risks
· Strong knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel, Google Docs)
· Willingness to travel (domestic)
· Work on the retail floor during large events or sales
· 4 year college degree (preferred)
Compensation Package includes:
- Starting salary range: $50,000-$72,000/annually plus bonuses, depending on experience
