What are the responsibilities and job description for the Product Development Coordinator position at Instaco, llc.?
We are seeking a highly organized and motivated Product Development Coordinator to join our team on a full-time basis. The Ideal candidate possesses strong verbal and written communication, and should be knowledgeable of garment construction, wash processes, BOM and costing data entry.
Specific Duties / Responsibilities:
- Partner with cross-functional departments to ensure timely execution of production calendar
- General office organization, including samples, pd/production submits, and archival reference samples
- Data entry: inputting/updating styles, costing, and generating POs into inventory software system
- Evaluates each submit thoroughly by weighing and confirming thread count matches standard
- Review/Approve lab dips, dye lots, washing effect, hand feel and shade against the approved standard and issue comments accordingly Monitor, review and track WIP flow for on time delivery
- Take the lead on quality control to ensure all garments are finished up to designer level standards
- Work closely with in-house tech and pattern team to understand and communicate fit and construction updates
- Actively participate in weekly production meetings with cross-functional team members and departments
- Ordering trims for domestic production
- Chasing proto, SMS, photo samples, and TOPs daily
- Make sure line current line sheets are on display for regular office meetings
- Partnering with Design Assistant and Tech Designers to ensure necessary mock ups are made to include in correspondence with vendors.

Education Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Fashion Design or equivalent industry experience
