What are the responsibilities and job description for the Events Marketing Manager position at Instawork?
Instawork is looking for an Event Marketing Manager to design and execute on experiences that help elevate our brand and contribute to pipeline growth. You will be an integral part of the Instawork Marketing team, and partner closely with Sales, Partnerships, Marketing and Community Operations to support our GTM goals with high quality field marketing execution. You are a creative and strategic marketer with a track record of successfully executing a wide range of events - from large industry trade shows to intimate customer events. You are equally excited about developing our overall field marketing strategy and rolling up your sleeves to execute on those. What you’ll do
- Develop an inspiring and practical strategy for how Instawork will build relevance, accelerate demand and drive leads with our target audiences.
- Research field marketing opportunities based on Instawork’s GTM objectives, target audiences and make recommendations on our events strategy. Collaborate with Sales, Partnerships, Marketing, Creative, and other internal and external stakeholders on event selection, promotion and post event prospecting.
- Execute events and experiences including industry conferences, regional trade shows, local Instawork brand activations and executive meetups.
- Evaluate performance of events, share learnings, and refresh events strategy based on those learnings.
- Manage budgets, and external agency relationships to facilitate smooth event execution
Who You Are
- 4 years in B2B events and field marketing
- Proven success in creating and executing on a broad range of events that drive meaningful impact.
- Outstanding project management, prioritization. Strong communication skills with the ability to influence internal and external stakeholders.
- Working knowledge of CRM tools such as Hubspot and Salesforce
- Experience managing external vendors/contractors
- Intellectually curious, empathetic, and driven to solve hard problems
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced startup environment. Comfortable making decisions amidst ambiguity, a strong bias for action.
- Adept at and enjoy partnering cross-functionally across teams.

For CA based applicants:
- The base salary range for this position is $90,000 - $140,000
- This position is eligible for equity in the form of stock options
