Insurance Technologies is looking for an Event Marketing Manager to join its marketing team. In this role, you will be responsible for owning the event experience from start to finish.
You will collaborate with internal teams in support of the greater marketing strategy with all event-related responsibilities. Duties of the Event Marketing Manager include handling all aspects of event planning and management to align with pipeline targets and marketing strategy; working cross-functionally in the execution of the event plan, including pre- and post-event communications; and analyzing event performance to identify what is working and what can be improved. The position requires attention to detail; flawless execution of events, even when multiple events are happening simultaneously; and an ability to solve problems.
Key Responsibilities ·
- Lead and manage the day-to-day planning and execution of corporate and client-facing events (in-person and online), industry conferences, and trade shows, including pre- and post-event communications, attendee management, contract negotiation, and performance analysis.
- Generate high quality leads from event activities that contribute to sales pipeline growth goals.
- Collaborate across departments to contribute to meeting design, agenda development, brand building, and event communications and marketing, and provide consistent and clear communications to all stakeholders.
- Manage administrative tasks to support speaking opportunities, abstract submissions, symposiums, and forums.
- Lead webinar and other virtual event development and coordination efforts, including sourcing and promoting the events, proactively leading the identification of webinar topics, coordinating with presenters, conducting webinars, and coordinating follow-up activities.
- Partner with marketing, BDRs, account executives, and third-party vendors to successfully represent Insurance Technologies at all live events and webinars.
- Manage lead and note imports for webinars, conferences, and other events.
- Analyze data on event performance, based on variety of factors, including attendees, booth size/location, leads and opportunities, and evaluate ROI per event.
- Manage inventory, shipping and budget for events and promotional items. Build annual webinars and conferences budget and recommend event budget as part of the annual budgeting process.
- Write content for social media event promotion for corporate Twitter and LinkedIn profiles. Support staff’s social media promotion through writing templates for them to use on Twitter and LinkedIn. Partner with Creative Director to create graphics to use for social media event promotion.
- Review latest trends, best practices, and ideas on how to increase booth traffic and leads.
- Represent Insurance Technologies at events as needed.
Core Competencies
- 3 years in online and in-person event management or related role. Preferably at a B2B SaaS company.
- Strong team player with senior stakeholder management skills.
- Exceptional organizational skills and an outstanding execution (timelines, budgets) track record.
- Ability to work on multiple events simultaneously.
- Creative problem solver with an eye for quality.
- Experience with Salesforce, Pardot and Zoom Webinar is a plus.
- Ability to collaborate with a team remotely.
- Comfortable with some travel.

Expected hours of Work:
This is a full-time, exempt position with regular office hours Monday through Friday.
Travel Expectations:
This position requires domestic US and international travel as needed for a global organization.
