Vice President of Finance

We are searching for a highly-analytical and hands-on Vice President of Finance to oversee our company’s financial planning and analysis.  Your duties include valuing acquisition targets, supporting our capital markets debt and equity activities, developing budgets and performing financial analysis.  The ideal candidate will be acutely intelligent with highly developed financial analytical skills and leadership abilities.  Your goal will be to guide the company towards increasing profitability and financial success.  This position will be an integral part of our acquisition, management reporting and capital markets process.

The ideal candidate MUST live within a commutable distance to Boca Raton, FL to work in our office 1 day/week. The other 4 days will be remote.

Job Description

• Oversee the financial strategic planning of the company by evaluating and tracking its performance and risks
• Perform regular financial analysis and reporting
• Cash flow forecasting
• Develop and update budgets and forecasts
• Monitor and track compliance with covenants and loan agreements
• Lead periodic creation of KPI’s, metrics and management reports for use by business unit leaders, executives, board and capital providers.
• Recognize patterns in company spending, revenue, expenses and recommend solutions to problem areas
• Support acquisition process in pricing of deals to select which opportunities to pursue
• Support capital markets activity, including debt and equity

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or relevant field; MBA preferred
• A minimum of 8-10 years’ experience in financial management
• In-depth knowledge of accounting software and financial analysis
• Experience in an entrepreneurial environment
• Excellent communication skills
• An analytical mind with good organizational skills and commitment to getting things done promptly and correctly
• Takes ownership of projects
