If so, we have an exciting opportunity for you to work as a contingent (part-time) Client Access Specialist providing coverage on weekends, holidays and vacations at our new urgent care center!
What You Will Be Doing
Working as a contingent (part-time) Client Access Specialist you will be responsible for providing a welcoming and safe environment for our clients while completing real-time registration.
This includes accurately capturing client demographic and insurance information in the electronic health record; verifying client insurance benefits and eligibility;
assisting clients with completion of the CCBHC Sliding Fee Scale Income Verification / Ability to Pay form and communicating financial responsibility to clients.
You will be responsible for answering telephones.
What We Require
- A Client Access Specialist (CAS) is required to have a High School diploma, or GED, and two years' experience in patient / client registration;
- Superior customer service; Ability to recognize and prioritize urgent or emergent care needs; ability to work variable shifts that are 8 to 12 hours including evenings;
Excellent communication skills, interpersonal and human relation skills; and advanced computer skills including accessing various insurance websites, word processing, spreadsheets, and e-mail.
The ability to cover for vacations, on weekends and holidays is a must for this position.
