What are the responsibilities and job description for the Security Services Architect position at Integris?

Provides leadership and performs a variety of duties related to assisting Integris clients with daily problems/issues/questions. Responsibilities include: leading standards of deployment; monitoring, auditing, maintenance and documentation of the Security products and services lifecycles; Providing daily technical leadership for a security service team; working with clients to provide solutions; serving as the senior technical resource for the team, clients and co-workers; designing, developing, testing and implementing solutions for clients; documenting work for billing and research; working with the technical team to mentor, provide technical support and collaboration in order to provide solutions for clients; and work with management to develop and improve communications and work processes for the team and other departments. All development and implementations will be conducted in accordance with standards set forth by Integris and other information technology standards. Position requires high level of customer service skills to establish and enhance positive relations with co-workers and clients.

    , Education, and Experience Requirements

  • Job Qualifications: Strong background in Cybersecurity and Information Technology with high level of communication skills; Solid understanding of network technologies & cybersecurity practices; Good understanding of Governance, Risk, and Compliance requirements. Incident Response, Business Continuity, and triage experience/knowledge preferred.

  • Education: Degree in Information Technology or business or equivalent education/experience

  • Certifications: Two Major Industry Certifications – CISSP, CEH, Security , CISM, or OSCP Preferred and the ability to get certified in our primary Security services/products, as directed.

  • Experience Requirements: 7 years working in Cybersecurity and Information Technology


  • Job Duties, Functions and Competencies

Support and maintain Integris’s existing security services products. This would include knowledge in some the following areas.

  • Design, automation of provisioning, and assistance with sales engineering

  • Accurately estimates the effort required for management of reoccurring services and the impact of requested changes to scheduled tasks and milestones

  • Works with Sales Consultants and Solutions Architects to conduct Business Consultations and provide recommendations for bill of materials, project scope, and a labor estimate

  • Performs project management activities to ensure the timely delivery of projects

  • Communicate to client with the highest level of customer service on scheduled deployment, implementation, and practices for specified services.

  • Applies standards to system requirements and design and evaluation of project process and outcome

  • Demonstrate professional attitude with clients over the phone, on-site and through emails to resolve all client project requests/questions

  • Provide recommendations through the services lifecycle to client’s method, processes, hardware/software to ensure a better working environment for end-user.

  • Application of system analysis techniques and procedures, including consulting with users to determine hardware, software or system functional specifications

  • Design, development, documentation, analysis, creation, testing or modification of computer systems or programs, including prototypes, based on and related to user or system design specifications

  • Design, testing, documentation, creation or modification of computer programs related to machine operating systems

  • Mentors standards in Security services to deploy, monitor, audit, document, and maintain the lifecycles of Security products and services

  • Advanced experience with virtualization technologies; primarily a strong understanding of the Microsoft’s and VMware’s technologies

  • Security planning and execution; including the application and documentation of administrative, technical/logical and physical controls

  • Project Management experience

  • Vendor relationship management and negotiation abilities

  • Windows server technologies and its services used in various deployments/fashions

  • Mail technologies including Anti-Spam measures, archiving

  • Design/architect mind set. The ability to visualize big picture hosted/Security products, services and scenarios and make recommendations for implementation

  • Ensure project tasks/deliverables are completed and clients’ technical needs are being met

  • Demonstrate professional attitude with client over the phone, on-site and through emails to resolve all client project requests/questions

  • Responsible for personal and professional development with continued growth, training, certifications, and project processes. Assist with leading the Integris security services process lifecycle with future development of technology and best practices

  • Continued training, education, and certification accreditation from governing cybersecurity organizations/institutes.

  • Identify trends in industry best practice policies and assist in evaluating the impact of those trends on the organization

  • Actively engage in developing and enhancing skill set, industry knowledge, and professional certifications

  • Assist in any other projects or tasks assigned by supervisor
